Pope Street Pocket Neighborhood

  • Project Type: Multi-Family
  • Location: St. Helena, California

This multifamily housing site is nestled in the middle of the Napa Valley, where the housing crisis has been in full swing for a long time. The project was intended to combine workforce housing and higher-end housing to create a socially connected, mixed-income community. We collaborated with local restaurateurs and their staff to identify what housing was most appropriate for vital service workers in this often tourist-oriented community.

Our design protected and celebrated existing historic agricultural structures on this infill site, including a stone tower.

We’re proud to be in good company.

We love being part of the community that’s bringing good design to good people. That’s why we contribute to and participate in these organizations – so we can bring the best emerging ideas to you.
