Following the success of our Woodward Park City project, Caddis is pleased to continue to work on Woodward facilities worldwide. Anchoring a larger, mixed-use development, Woodward Sydney is Woodward’s first urban center location for year-round indoor action sports easily accessed by public transportation and an urban population.
When we joined the Woodward Sydney team, the building shell was already designed. Our role was to focus on creating the space inside in coordination with local Australian architects and a large development team.
The 55,000-square-foot facility is designed to offer spaces for everything from skateboarding, BMX bikes, and acrobatics to fitness, climbing, and bouldering training – and these spaces are designed for all levels of participants. Spectator and seating areas uniquely circulate around all primary sport areas, giving the public a front-row view of the athletes. This action center also provides sport equipment rentals, retail, dining, and private event rooms.
Caddis created a fly-through with figures showing people participating in a variety of activities. This fly-through allows investors and future guests to visualize the fun they will have at Woodward Sydney!
