Bari Court House is a new, custom, single-family home for a family that lost their home in the 2021 Marshall Fire. Set on a beautiful upsloping site and with great views, the compact forms use a simple shed roof to organize the spaces. The design process was informed by the family’s experience of having their home destroyed. Caddis listened to the family’s needs and designed a new home that would be much more fire-resistant. The house was also designed to Passive House standards.
