Podcast Feature: Jumping Into Cohousing

By Published On: May 25th, 2021

Caddis Collaborative is excited to be working with CoHousing Houston, a new community we are helping to design in the East End of Houston, Texas and Houston’s first cohousing group. Caddis is partnering with local architect and community member Kathleen English, of English + Associates Architects, Inc., to led the group in a community design process, centered on their values in communitas, healthy living, and Low Impact Design principals.

Recently, CoHousing Houston members Lynn Morstead and Kelli Soika talked with Caddis principal architect Bryan Bowen about his “jump” into cohousing. Their conversation was captured in the community’s podcast.

In this conversation, Bryan recounts that his interest in the idea of living with others began in his college days, but he didn’t find an opportunity to make it a reality in his life until his firm began working on its first cohousing project. Listen to the podcast to hear Bryan’s story.
